Timeless interior details work in concert with the furnishings and finishes to provide a tailored space. It is entertainment ready while still comfortable for daily use. The home’s ability to flex from intimate gathering sizes to large celebrations gives it valuable long-term usability. The design of this residence coincided with a peak of change in the owners' lives. This design supports the historic neighborhood, yet bridges the gap between modern design and tradition. A U-shaped floorplan provides practical access to natural light, but also creates a dynamic relationship from the inside to the outside. Once coined, “Cocktails, Wine and Coffee”, the progression of the interior and exterior living spaces transition smoothly from one to the other.
