INTERIOR DESIGNER

Entry Level (0-5 Years), Full Time

We are looking for a creative and efficient Intern Designer to join our team. Ideally, the designer could handle production on assigned project(s). The ability to work diligently and successfully complete the project deliverables with excellent representation of KBID is critical. The designer will assist in developing interior solutions for KBID projects at various phases, including but not limited to concepts, design development, and construction drawings. The candidate should be able to collaborate well with the internal team and carry it to completion based on the clients requirements.  Being a detail oriented and self-motivated individual will allow one to thrive in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete design projects from concept development through to completion.

• Develop interior design concepts, finish palettes, and sketches to communicate design details.

• Develop construction documents in Revit.

• Collaborates with the design team and other construction professionals.

• Coordinating with the team regularly to maintain continuity. 

Skills & Competencies

• Degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited program.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent technical drawing skills, specifically in Revit.

• Strong communication and project management skills.

• Eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.

• Proficient knowledge of the following: G Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, & Enscape.

• Team oriented and self motivated individual.

• Strong creative and visualization skills.
