Shadow & Stone

Shadow & Stone is a comprehensive renovation of a private residence, reimagined from the studs up across its most essential spaces. The scope encompassed a complete reconfiguration of the kitchen, pantry, mudroom, and powder bath, alongside a fully redesigned primary suite including the bedroom, dual closets, bathroom, and laundry.

The kitchen anchors the home with dramatic intention. Matte black cabinetry, gold-veined marble, and brushed brass fixtures create a space where beauty and purpose are inseparable. Thoughtfully designed to honor kosher living, every detail serves the rhythm of a working kitchen while elevating it into something genuinely extraordinary.

The primary suite offers a quieter counterpoint. Rich burl wood, textural stone, and a soft palette of grey and navy layer elegance and depth into spaces designed for restoration. Innovative materials and considered forms carry the design forward without sacrificing warmth or comfort.

The existing living and dining rooms, grounded in warm wood tones and classic white marble, were honored and elevated through a full furnishings refresh, weaving together the home's existing architecture with the bolder design language introduced throughout.

Timeless in its sensibility and contemporary in its execution, Shadow & Stone is a home that holds contrast in careful balance. Bold where it needs to be, serene where it counts.
