The Wade

Located at Third and Grand in Kansas City’s historic River Market, The Wade offers a modern residential experience shaped by the energy and character of its surroundings. KBID’s interior design extends throughout the residential units and shared amenity spaces, pairing contemporary details with warm, locally inspired materials. Within the units, clean lines, natural textures, and considered finishes create comfortable, functional homes designed for everyday living.

The amenity spaces were designed to support the many rhythms of residents’ lives—from work and wellness to gathering and retreat. Coworking studios, social lounges, fitness and recreation spaces, and an indoor-outdoor bar each have their own identity while remaining connected through a cohesive design language. The result is a welcoming residential community that feels distinctly Kansas City: grounded in its setting, thoughtful in its execution, and designed to endure.
